Machete is directed by Robert Rodriguez and Ethan Maniquis. The cast includes Michelle Rodriguez, Cheech Marin, Lindsay Lohan, Don Johnson, Jessica Alba, Steven Seagal, Robert De Niro, Jeff Fahey, Cheryl Chin and Rose McGowan. The film is an expansion of a fake trailer Rodriguez directed for the 2007 film Grindhouse and centers around the character of Machete Cortezand will be release on September 3, 2010.
The film is full of action and deadly fight with the protagonist of the film which is Steven Seagal. Machete is armed by knives and bolo and all kinds of knife related weapon to kill his enemies who also tried to kill him. This is one of a kind movie who entertains those people who will watch this movie.
The main actor of the film Danny Trejo, is a Mexican-American, was born Dan Trejo, Jr. in Los Angeles, the son of Alice Rivera and Dan Trejo, a construction worker. He is a cousin of filmmaker Robert Rodriguez and is from the Pacoima neighborhood of the San Fernando Valley.
Finally we get to see Steven Segal play a bad guy and die in a movie, I had been waiting for that for years. Danny Trejo is a machine; he has that mean I’m going to mean things to you look about it. Nothing pretty boy about this guy, rough tough and he don’t take anything off of nobody kind of unlikely hero, and plus he carries a big machete. I don’t think there was too much more we could have in this movie to make it any better.
